Home Sweet Home
Ok, where in this vast world did this precious little human come from?
Home sweet home we go,
Designed in great detail for God did know,
Beating little heart ♥️, it beats for you,
It beats for me, it’s beats are from thee
New sights, new sounds, new taste new touch
Sweet smell the fragrance of this brand new world
My name is Maude given to me , from a strong and determined great, great, generations ago
I was there in form, carved in secret layers below
Today, I guess is my day
To go home sweet home 🏡💕🥹
I hear that two very dears
Wait patiently to meet me
Hope when they see me so tiny and still, they gesture ,the purr I feel and hear
So, Oslo and Geno look on me with love, together we will grow and grow
I will need you, you see, to make home
Home sweet home to me 🏡🌅🖼️
Home Sweet Home, Glimpse poetry by Joe Holuta
About this poem: Home Sweet Home is a poem about Maude Veltri Morris, her birth to this vast new world on 7/22/23. Maude became alert to this new life and can't imagine the process she experiences the first few days of life. So welcomed she is to Emily and Zach and our family. Year after year we will rejoice with her on all the newly found graces and pleasure of living. Welcome home little, beautiful human! 🏡🌅🖼️
