“…wildflower…”

Wildflower

Natural beauty, Value far beyond all,

A wildflower

soft yet firm in the storm

Surrounded by flowers that gauge,

Hope to reflect, humble beauty simple grace, shimmering petals

The wildflower not knowing it’s own strength and beauty

Creates joy by being

Each day demands

The fragrance to fill,

the spectacular colors put on view

Brief time of expression

God’s beauty in it’s short life

Many times no eye even sees them in the wild

Yet the life,

Art to behold cherish and treasure

Long after the petals fall the perfume fragrance remains

Winds may toss and cold might come but

Planted seeds from its life

grow silently beside

Sustained life and beauty

Soon to grow again and again
