Fences branches gardens and shadows
With me in the shadows and dark places
Fences [bracketing our lives]
Shadows of branches from roots that go deep -deep
Window box blossoms- growth again Revitalized to give Life another try Springing forth to beauty at just the right time
Change, Fleeting -a season for everything
Like a breath you take, you inhale deeply,
Holding the breath for fear of letting go
"Time flies over us, but leaves its shadow behind." (1)
Hydrangeas so colorful,
Aspen leaves fluttering, reaching to catch the morning sunshine
overlooking all
“A garden , good soil
- a seed, plant, fruit, legacy,
water, water, water “ (2)
“Faithful love, Rich and abundant
Fresh wind, fresh word, just at the right time
Lifting those bent beneath their loads (3)
“His love in the presence of our imperfections /more powerful than if He only loved us perfect”(2)
Fences branches gardens and shadows , Glimpse poetry by Joe Holuta
About this poem: Fences branches gardens and shadows is a poem about how God’s love for us comes so easily. He loves us with our imperfections; when we’re down on our luck , when we’re stumbling along the way and in those good days we can never forget.
A snapshot of his love, window view of the flowering planter, [lives], sun and growth in the shadow and garden within. – Joe Holuta.
