“…Fences branches gardens and shadows…”

Fences branches gardens and shadows

With me in the shadows and dark places

Fences [bracketing our lives]

Shadows of branches from roots that go deep -deep

Window box blossoms- growth again Revitalized to give Life another try Springing forth to beauty at just the right time

Change, Fleeting -a season for everything

Like a breath you take, you inhale deeply,

Holding the breath for fear of letting go

"Time flies over us, but leaves its shadow behind." (1)

Hydrangeas so colorful,

Aspen leaves fluttering, reaching to catch the morning sunshine

overlooking all

“A garden , good soil

- a seed, plant, fruit,  legacy,

water, water, water “ (2)

“Faithful love, Rich and abundant

Fresh wind, fresh word, just at the right time

Lifting those bent beneath their loads (3)

“His love in the presence of our imperfections /more powerful than if He only loved us perfect”(2)

Fences branches gardens and shadows , Glimpse poetry by Joe Holuta

About this poemFences branches gardens and shadows is a poem about how God’s love for us comes so easily. He loves us with our imperfections; when we’re down on our luck , when we’re stumbling along the way and in those good days we can never forget.

A snapshot of his love, window view of the flowering planter, [lives], sun and growth in the shadow and garden within. – Joe Holuta.

“… time machine …”

 Time Machine

Oh, to have a time machine

A silent movie on a screen

Seeing the smiles, piercing pain retreats

Heart heard laughter – sounds and sing-alongs

Dancing freely together

“ In Good Hands” – a sieve, holding all that is dear

Sifting the good and fading the strain

Time Machine Glimpse poetry by Joe Holuta

About this poem- Time Machine is a poem about the desire at times to want to go back to things, lifetime’s and people the way they were. It doesn’t take much to actually visualize the movie of the past and see those you loved that were dear and feel, smell , hear, taste and touch all that once was dear. Easier now to sift the good and let the strain fade-as we should.- Joe Holuta

Note- inspired by the movie “In Good Hands- 2”
