Blue
I will write her a poem today called Blue
When I think of you, I think of blue
Blue sky day, blue as the sea
Blue the flower petal that lines our way
Blue the days you lift my heart
To carry on another day
Blue as the beauty you ribbon tie to extend love
To your children dear, and their children too
My favorite mug and glass and spooner
Sweaters of the blue, the eyes and nose and cheeks
shine as the skies above our life
I see blue
I think loving, unforgettable thoughts of you
Memories dear
Your humility in thoughts, words, and deeds
So clear, as the day, as the reflection of the sky, in a freshwater lake on mountain top
Love like no other, she dares not compare,
for her nature is far above the fray
That troubles many a day
