Lavender Place
A Year ago, this gift was born
Today she walks and rocks the zebra and has graciously grown
It’s said time flies as a breeze as lavender in the wind as a breath
A passing mist and witness to this
Gratitude looking back
faith in the future
Grace is certain
Our sun-bright, Summer song,
Our lavender place
Lavender place, Glimpse poetry by Joe Holuta
About this poem- Lavender place is a poem about a morning stroll that I walked with my granddaughter Maude. We walked past a street called lavender place. We also saw lavender flowers on our way, and also recalled a picture I took of her amidst blooming wisteria! Maude like lavender and the purple color have a calming effect, is sweet and reveals grace and royalty - Joe Holuta
